James established Communicate late in 2004 as a niche recruitment firm specialising in executive level financial recruitment.  Before setting up Communicate he worked as a recruiter for five years starting at Hays before moving on to Harrison Willis which was later acquired by TMP Worldwide. James’ ambition is to lead a world class, independent and progressive recruitment firm which is renowned for service and quality and whose consultants are treated as business partners and rewarded as such.

Tom joined Communicate in early 2008 to set up the Treasury desk. With three years Treasury experience under his belt, Tom is one of the most well-connected recruiters in his field and in just under a year, Communicate Treasury has become a leader in its field. Specialising in all positions from Treasury Analyst to Group Treasurer, Communicate Treasury has placed in excess of 50 professionals across the FTSE 100/250, 11 of those Group Treasurers. In his spare time, Tom is also a guest writer for the ACT and has published articles for the Journal Of Corporate Treasury Management.

Lucy joined Communicate in June 2010. She has over 11 years Finance recruitment experience incorporating success at Consultant, Manager and Associate Director level at some of the best known Finance recruitment brands. Following graduation at Liverpool University, Lucy joined the Michael Page Finance Graduate Scheme where she quickly became a top performer. A Management role at Hudson and latterly Associate Director at Advantage Professional in the last 3 years (formerly known as FSS) then followed. In her role there, she was a manager of 18 consultants across 3 offices. Lucy has experience of leading multi site teams whilst winning business and generating revenue through personal billings - she is a seasoned recruiter of Qualified Finance professionals from newly qualified to CFO level.
