A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global FTSE 250 business in their London Group function. The role of Group Reporting Manager will not just be a technical one and see the successful individual heavy involved in FP&A and possible some M&A as the business continues to grow through acquisition.

Other responsibilities include:
Review and consolidation of monthly management accounts, including preparation of dashboards and a written narrative.
Production of interim and annual consolidated statutory group financial statements to comply with International Financial Reporting Standards.
Liaising with divisional financial controllers and ensuring that all information submitted to Head Office by the subsidiaries is prepared on a consistent basis and that the group’s reporting packages are amended as necessary to take account of ongoing developments.
Responsibility for the group’s consolidation system, including liaising with the group’s support providers and the group’s US IT team to ensure the consolidation system is functioning appropriately (speed, upgrades, system development etc.)
Ensuring that the group’s accounting manual and other finance related policy manuals are complied with and kept up to date and that new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 15, 16) are successfully adopted.
PLANNING AND ANALYSIS:
Review and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Production of quarterly internal benchmarking and trend analysis.
Ad-hoc analysis of reported results to provide insights into group performance and to identify areas for management attention.
Liaising with the operating companies to address issues and ensure that necessary communication lines are continued including visits to group operating locations as and when required.
Liaising with external advisers as and when necessary; auditors, tax advisers, etc.
Providing financial support to group functions including engineering & operations, tax and strategy.
Skills & Experience:
Chartered Account (ACA Big Four background highly desirable)
Post qualification in practice or a group listed company
Understanding / Experience of international consolidations.
