A unique opportunity has arisen for a chartered accountant with significant M&A experience to assume a leadership role within the M&A department of a high-growth Accounting and Business Advisory firm. The business who, themselves, have completed in excess of 60 acquisitions in the past four years and grown rapidly as a result are operating under a very flexible hybrid model.
They are looking to strengthen their M&A offering to support a recently appointed Partner. He has ambitions to develop lines of sector specialisms (his own is in retail and leisure) and will encourage his team members to target larger value deals and carve out their own niche.
Candidates will be ACA qualified, likely having qualified in either audit or tax. Again, individuals will likely have trained with/worked in a Big 4 firm but this is not a pre-requisite. They will have at least 3 years of post-qualified M&A experience and be keen to take the next step in their career.
