Core Finance

The heart of our practice areas at Communicate, our Core Finance team specialise in the placement of qualified accounting professionals into commerce and industry businesses across the UK&I. We have a deep understanding of the nuances and technicalities within the finance market and we pride ourselves on our partnerships with impressive organisations.

Our network extends from newly-qualified accountants from a variety of backgrounds (ACA, CIMA, ACCA and international equivalents),up to CFO and senior leadership levels. We work with start-ups and SME’s, up to blue-chip FTSE 100/200 companies.

With our executive search and senior network providing a solid client base spanning a variety of industries, our core finance desk is fuelled off personal referrals and organic introductions. This showcases our strong relationships with clients across the finance board, and our ability to build and grow teams.

Executive Search

Meaningful organisational change comes from leaders who demonstrate success beyond technical skills and knowledge. We headhunt executives holistically, taking into consideration important people management skills, drive and personality. We’re experts at ensuring the right people managers get placed in organisations where their character and leadership thrive. We provide a bespoke executive search service at this level, working with many of our partners on a retained, exclusive basis due to our longstanding success. We look beyond the ‘now’ and partner with our executive talent for whatever hiring challenges they face in the future.

Our core focus is sourcing top tier Group CFO’s, Divisional Finance Directors, Group Financial Controllers, Directors of FP&A and project focussed positions.

Tax

With over 15 years Tax recruitment experience, Communicate are the go-to recruitment agency of choice for many FTSE-100, FTSE-250, Fortune 500 and Private businesses when hiring across Direct and Indirect taxes. The team are specialists in building out teams, as well as in-housing tax functions via greenfield hires. Typical roles hire are Head of Tax, Tax Director, Group Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, Tax Manager, Tax Advisor and Tax Analyst across Corporate Tax and VAT functions.

The team are firmly embedded into the in-house and practice tax markets, working across all C&I, FS and advisory sectors. Treasury

We are proud to have been one of the very first agencies to specialise within the UK&I treasury market and since then have created and nurtured close working relationships with a list of long-standing clients. With a collective 30+ years of treasury experience, we have successfully placed a range of senior roles, from permanent FTSE 100 Group Treasurers to Interim Treasury Consultants who are key in implementing and growing treasury functions.

Over the years we have seen a rise in the use of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), with many established businesses implementing or upgrading their systems – our team have close relationships with highly skilled experts who work on a project basis for this in-demand set-up.

Internal Audit

We are one of the few recruitment firms with dedicated experts specialising across the three lines of defence. One of the first agencies in London to specialise in hiring Internal Audit professionals, we have grown the practice to cover financial and operational audits, as well as rapidly growing areas across IT audit and programme assurance. Typical roles hired are Audit Committee, Head of Internal Audit, Senior Audit Managers and Internal Auditors across finance, IT and operations.
