£60,000 - £75,000 plus bonus
A well-recognised Logistics group are seeking a Deputy Financial Controller.
This opportunity will involve day-to day management of the Finance team; working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director. The business are in their Growth phase, with expansion plans underway overseas. You will manage a small team, and business partner with the members of the wider Finance team.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
- Provide commentary on performance vs budget; presenting to Senior Leadership
- Review/Assist with month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Business Partner with heads of Department; evaluating risks and opportunities for the business
- Subject matter expert for auditors
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous management experience ideal
- Experience within the Logistics/Supply-Chain space ideal
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
