A Global Commodities Business are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team; working closely with the Analysis team. They have recently implemented a new ERP; the successful candidate will be on hand to further assist with the development of this. This role will involve a mix of financial accounting and FP&A; liaising with the wider Finance team.
You will report into the Finance Manager and be available to deputise on an ad hoc basis.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the Group’s consolidation
- Prepare management and statutory accounts
- Assist with financial control processes and the new ERP system being implemented
- Provide variance analysis; preparing budgets and re forecasts
- Subject matter expert to stakeholders and the audit team
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Audit experience desirable with PQE in industry
- Must Previous consolidations experience incl. multi-currency
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience implementing an ERP ideal
