We are working with a large organisation in the Property/Construction space to place an interim Group Finance Director for an initial 6 months.
This is actually newly created role, that sits in between the CFO and Group Financial Controller, following a group wide transformation project that they are about to embark on. This programme may see this role become a permanent need within the business, and so there is absolutely longer-term options within the group.
The chosen candidate will run day to day finance across the business, covering all aspects of Financial Reporting, Controls, Accounting, Tax, Treasury and FP&A and managing a team of roughly 20 (4 direct reports). The CFO will be spending a lot of time on the transformation side, so naturally this individual will act as a true deputy.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- ACA/CIMA qualified with extensive PQE
- Immediately available or available at short notice
- Ideally experience as a Group Financial Controller/Group Finance Director in large organisations
- Construction/Property/Housing experience is desirable
