Our client is an impressive, large listed FMCG Group, who are looking for a Senior Group Reporting lead following an internal promotion and continued growth within the organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organization. You will be responsible for consolidating financial statements, managing the year-end audit process, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
The organisation itself is a well-known and recognisable group, with a product range that you would find in almost any retail store across the UK and Europe.
• Lead the group financial reporting process, overseeing the consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the year-end audit, collaborating with external auditors and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Stay up-to-date of accounting standards and regulatory changes, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance.
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, M&A, tax and treasury.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA ideally Big 4) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in financial reporting within the FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing space.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in owning a consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capability to meet tight deadlines.
